By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms and conditions, then you should contact one of our customer service advisers at info@myduvetandpillow.co.uk before placing an order with us.

My Duvet and Pillow will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither My Duvet and Pillow nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of My Duvet and Pillow or any of its employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.

Eligibility to Purchase

The purchase of merchandise through My Duvet and Pillow is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Site in accordance with English law.

In order to make purchases through the website, you will be requested to register and provide personal details. In particular, customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, when ordering items you will be required to provide payment details, and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.

This website is available only to individuals and others who meet the My Duvet and Pillow terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to the My Duvet and Pillow, whose applications are acceptable to My Duvet and Pillow and who have authorized My Duvet and Pillow to process a charge or charges on their credit card in the amount of the total purchase and delivery price for the merchandise which they purchase.

Voucher and/or discount codes

Voucher codes, promotion codes, discount codes or any form of price reduction available via the redemption of a code at checkout are liable to our terms. These include the limit of one code per transaction, expiry dates and subject to acceptance by My Duvet and Pillow. Please note that offers for free products are limited to one free item per order, unless otherwise stated. Orders must contain at least one non-free item in basket. Minimum spend may apply.

Price Promise

We reserve the right to not match or beat prices from (a) seller(s) or store we doubt - or are unable to verify - to be selling the genuine item as described. This includes, but is not limited to: eBay, third-party sellers, individuals selling privately or websites listing the price at significantly lower price than would seem genuine. The above is further to the terms set out in our Price Promise page.

Acceptance of your order

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. Unless you cancel your order in accordance with our Cancellation policy below, a contract between the customer and My Duvet and Pillow for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment.

Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the website, removing screening or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

Payment and Taxes

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20%.

We currently accept payment made by Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch debit cards and PayPal. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by My Duvet and Pillow. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.

If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to My Duvet and Pillow, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Security and Privacy Policy

We take all reasonable care to make our website as secure as we can make it. All credit card transactions on this site are processed via PayPal, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. At My Duvet and Pillow we do not have and we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. 

Insurance

My Duvet and Pillow insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. You will be asked to sign for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

We undertake that all down duvets supplied thereon by My Duvet and Pillow will be free from defect in material or workmanship according to the state of the art under normal use for a period of 10 years, 5 years for down pillows, 3 years for synthetic, silk and goose feather and down duvets and pillows, and 2 years for all other items.

What does our guarantee cover?

The My Duvet and Pillow guarantee covers the repair or replacement of your item if it is found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the guarantee period. That includes repairs or a replacement for free, with no quibbles.

If any item is no longer available, we will replace it with an equivalent product from our range.

The My Duvet and Pillow guarantee is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer.

 

Refund Policy:

We accept refunds and exchanges.

Returns
Our policy covers the purchase for 90 days starting on the day of delivery. If 90 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. 

Unless the item is faulty at time of receipt or the incorrect item was received, the customer is responsible for delivery costs of return. When returning an item, we recommend you choose recorded delivery as the customer is liable until we receive the return. For faulty items, the customer will be provided with a pre-paid returns label; we are unable to reimburse postage cost incurred for returns.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, we will accept returned items even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund (including basic delivery costs paid) as long as you return your goods within 14 days from the day after delivery to you.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in resalable and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase or a returns number to be included with the return. 

There are certain situations where a full refund may be refused or only partial refund issued, these include:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts or packaging for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 90 days after delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse return and/or refund if any items do not meet the above criteria.

You, the customer are eligible for a refund once we have received the returned the goods, inspected it and confirmed it meets the return condition criteria. 

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days. If a full refund in not approved, we will contact you informing you of the status and arrange for either: a partial refund, or arrange for return of goods if you do not wish to accept a refund. 

Exchanges:
We replace items free of charge if they are defective or damaged - we will provide a pre-paid returns label. If you would like to exchange it for a different item, process a return and request for an exchange. The customer will in this instance be required to pay for return postage. If we have dispatched a replacement prior to you - the customer - returning the original item(s), you have 30 days to return the item. Failure to do so means you may be charged. We reserve the right to charge you, using your original method of payment for any non-returned item(s). 

Gifts:
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

Unless the product(s) is faulty,  you (the customer) will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We (My Duvet and Pillow), if item received was faulty or incorrect, will issue a pre-paid returns label. We will not be able to refund any costs incurred by the customer for a return. We will only pay for returns if it meets the outlined terms above and only within UK Mainland. Where not eligible for pre-paid returns label, we are able to arrange collection from your address or drop-off at a local point. This will incur a return fee of £3 - £6 (depending on the item(s).

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
